Bridge Card Game: Play Your Trump Card

Bridge Card Game  is one of the most popular games in the world. It is played almost in every country, though can be called in different ways. This can be caused by another factor: bridge card game has a lot of variations (e.g. duplicate, ordinary and even Singaporean bridge), the most famous one is contract bridge.

Bridge card game rules tend to vary a bit for numerous forms. Still there is a common pattern that most types have adopted. The basics of bridge is as follows: there is a deck consisting of 54 cards, but jokers should be laid aside, so as a result there are only 52 cards with four players required per one round. The highest card is an ace, and a two is the lowest one.

There is always a dealer in bridge, but who is she? All the players should draw one card; the player who has the highest one will be a dealer for this round, then obligations will be passed on in a clockwise way to all the players in turn. This is possible only after a round is  finished. As for bridge card game deals they are always standard. A dealer gives one card to each player beginning with the player to the left until everyone has 13 cards. All the cards should be dealt face down.

Bridge card games are thought to be played by partners, so that two companions sit opposite each other. There is another important feature of bridge: a suit does matter. Games can be either trumps or notrumps. The former means that a dealer and her partner have fixed one of four suits that is more powerful than the others. This is about bidding. While the latter concerns the following: all the cards in one trick should be of the same suit, the holder of the highest card takes all the cards of a trick. A player can put a card of a different suit in case there is no card of a necessary one in a hand.

The aim of bridge card games is to have the highest total of points. The higher cards in a hand and the more powerful they are, the likelier a win. Feel the taste of winning!
